Edy is survived by her son Charles Derek Edwards, daughter Denise Suzanne Dykstra Veneklasen, daughter-in-law Dawn Kurth, grandsons Anthony James Dykstra and Murphy Edwards. She was also a beloved great-grandmother to Jacob Dykstra, Hailey-Paxton Dykstra, Lennox Dykstra, and Karter Dykstra.

Edy faced life's challenges with grace and resilience, displaying unwavering love for her family. Her deep connection with her late spouse, Charles Trevor Edwards, endured for 54 years until his passing in 2017. Together, they built a foundation of love, commitment, and shared experiences that will be remembered fondly by those who knew them.
