Ethel Jean Archambo of Mesa, Arizona, passed away at home on July 25, 2026, at the age of 95.

Ethel was born at home in East Rochester, the daughter of Clifford and Alberta Provost. She married George in 1951, and together they had four sons and one daughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George; her son, James ("Jimmy"); her parents, Clifford and Alberta; her brothers, Clifford Jr. and Leonard; and her sister, Barbara, affectionately known as Bobbie.

She is survived by her children, Bruce Archambo; Renée (Kenneth) Church; Jeffrey Archambo; and Peter (Helen) Archambo; as well as her wonderful sister, Carol "Cappy" (Donald) Henderson.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Courtney, Amber, Duane, DeAnna, Christina, Jenny, Ashley, Craig, Rana, Mandy, Lisa, and Stephanie; 19 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted homemaker before beginning a career with the Yellow Front Corporation, where she worked for many years.

After retirement, she and George enjoyed traveling in their RV. They later became snowbirds, spending their summers in New York and enjoying life in their fifth-wheel trailer.

Ethel enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing the piano, and playing Mexican Train.

Ethel was a kind and gentle woman who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. We were truly blessed to call her Mom, Grandma, Sister, and Aunt.

A Celebration of Life and interment will be held October 2nd at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
